Move beyond the idea of Awakening

and into the Direct Experience

of living awake.

Move beyond the idea of Awakening and into the Direct Experience of living awake.

You can read about awakening.

You can listen to teachers talk about it.

You can understand the concept.

But there is something different about directly recognizing what they are pointing to in your own experience.

Helen won't simply be talking about awakening.

She'll be offering practical ways to turn your attention inward to discover what is true...

for yourself.

Session 1:

Recognizing What You Really Are:

Meditation

Monday, October 5th, 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm ET

What if the peace you're looking for isn't something you need to create?

In this first session, Helen introduces a direct and simple form of meditation that invites you to...

Stop Looking for Peace.

Learn to Rest as It.

Rather than trying to quiet the mind or achieve a special state, we'll explore what happens when attention turns away from the constant stream of thought and toward the awareness that is already here.

Beyond the body, beyond the thinking mind, there is something much simpler and much closer than we usually realize.

Through meditation, we'll explore how to reconnect with that natural sense of contentment, presence, and peace.

We'll look at:
• What meditation really is
• How habitual attention keeps us identified with thought
• What it means to rest as awareness
• How meditation can reveal the fullness of this moment
• How to bring this recognition into everyday life

 Session 2:

Transcending Our Karmic Baggage:

Contemplation

Monday, October 12th, 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm ET

We all have those patterns.
The same fear. The same self-doubt. The same feeling that we're not enough, not lovable, or somehow falling behind.

We may recognize that these thoughts aren't true and yet somehow, we keep getting pulled back into them.

In this session, Helen explores contemplation as a practical way to meet these old patterns and see through them.

You Don't Have to Keep Repeating the Same Story.

These deeply conditioned ways of thinking can feel incredibly personal and convincing, but they don't have to determine how we experience our lives.

As we learn to question what we've believed for so long, we can begin to loosen the grip of old patterns and live more fully from what is true.

We'll explore:
• What karmic patterns or samskaras actually are
• Why old patterns keep resurfacing
• How we can recognize thoughts without believing them
• How contemplation helps us move beyond conditioned thinking
• What it means to live from Truth rather than old programming

Session 3:

What am I?:
Self-Inquiry

Monday, October 19th, 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm ET

At some point, spiritual ideas have to become more than ideas.

Don't Just Hear About Truth.

See It for Yourself.

Self-inquiry turns our attention toward the most fundamental question:

What am I?

Rather than looking for an intellectual answer, we'll use a simple, direct practice to investigate our experience and discover what remains when we look beyond the body, thoughts, memories, roles, and stories we normally call "me."

This is where awakening becomes personal not because we create a new identity, but because we begin to directly recognize what has always been here.

We'll explore:
• Who or what is aware of experience?
• What remains when we look beyond our usual identity?
• Can we experience ourselves before thought, time, and form?
• What is the difference between understanding Truth and directly recognizing it?
• How can self-inquiry become part of everyday life?

Session 4:

How does our own awakening help the planet?
What can we do to help the world right now?

Monday, October 26th, 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm ET

It's easy to wonder whether awakening is a luxury.

What about your family?

Your job?

Your responsibilities?

The state of the world?

Is it selfish to spend time looking inward when there is so much happening around us?

And if we actually wake up, will we still be able to function in ordinary life?

What If Waking Up Is One of the Most Practical Things We Can Do?

In our final session, Helen brings awakening down to earth and explores what happens when inner freedom meets everyday life.

We'll look at how awakening changes the way we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world and how a shift in consciousness can ripple outward in ways we may not expect.

We'll ask some very practical questions:
• Is it selfish to want to awaken?
• What will my awakening do for my family and friends?
• How might my life actually change?
• Can I live fully in the world after awakening?
• Will I still be able to function and meet my responsibilities?
• How can our own awakening contribute to a more awake world?
